The Italian town of Gressoney has been completely blocked, but as surprising as it seems this decision has nothing to do with the lockdown… But it is due to the filming of Ridley Scott’s upcoming movie on the assassination of Gucci.
How do we know? It was Lady Gaga herself to inform us via Instagram.
The superstar posted an exclusive behind-the-scenes picture in the set of “House of Gucci” together with Adam Driver captioned ‘Signore e Signora Gucci’ presenting their iconic yet tragic roles of Patrizia Reggiani and Maurizio Gucci in fashionable looks.
The script written by Roberto Bentivegna is based on Sara Gay Forden’s book entitled ‘The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamor, and Greed.’ and encaptures the story of one of the most heinous murders in the world of fashion… The assassination of Maurizio Gucci in 1995 commissioned by his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani as a “pay-back” to his infidelity.
As we already know Lady Gaga will interpret the resentful ex-wife – and convicted killer – and Adam Driver the victim, but the cast doesn’t end there… House of Gucci will also star Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, and Camille Cottin playing roles ranging from close family members to lovers.
The film also marks Gaga’s come-back into the acting scene since her acclaimed performance in 2018’s ‘A Star is Born’, and awaited return if you ask us.
We can’t wait to see the performance of the two Oscar-nominee protagonists in the retelling of this story of fashion and tragedy which is scheduled to release on November 24, 2021.
In the meantime the paparazzi are keeping us excited with photos of the film’s stylish wardrobe:
