Red Hot Leather, Double Denim And Risqué Mesh Are Just A Few Of The Trends Celebrities Are Wearing On Our Post-Lockdown Feeds

Textures have always played a big part in formulating the trends of the season and this week our feeds have been full of leathers, denims, mesh, suiting and velour. From Katy Perry’s red hot leather gown, Lizzo’s custom denim co-ord, Azzelle in a corset-style mesh top, Rihanna rocking black-owned brand Telfar in their velour track jacket and Duckie Thot in new Louis Vuitton suiting – we’ve got your post-lockdown Instagram looks of the week.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry took to Instagram in head to toe Saint Laurent for her American Idol look, ahead of the season finale. She wore a leather look latex midi wrap dress and over the knee leather boots – a red hot combination which is both timeless and classy.

Hannah Whiting

Hands down, tailoring is one of the most fashion-forward trends of the season. In a green blazer from Zara’s SS21 collection, suit trousers and Nike Air Force 1’s, Hannah Whiting looks smart and chic. Dress down your suits this season with trainers to add a street style edge.

Khloe Kardashian

Dripping in Dior, Khloe came matching with True in monogram print looks. Going back to their 2000’s roots, Dior is bringing their iconic logo print back to the limelight. Khloe wears the Dior Jordan 1 trainers with co-ordinating trousers and a simple navy long sleeve to tie in all the colours.

Rihanna

Spotted out in LA, Rihanna wears a cut out mini skirt by Maximilian paired with the Telfar Velour varsity jacket, strappy heels and a crochet top. With this look, Rihanna once again is showing her support for both Black deisgners and up and coming labels. Velour is definitely on the radar this season, with a nod to the 2000’s tracksuit resurgence.

Azzelle

In an all black, monochrome ‘fit – Azzelle wears a mesh tee paired with a corset and pleated mini skirt. Take notes for a go-to look this Spring which ticks several trends off the list. Let’s talk accessories, nothing makes the look practical like a leather satchel and a sun hat, two silhouettes which we believe should make it back into our wardrobes.

Lizzo

Lizzo wears double denim in a custom co-ord hand painted by artist Patrick Church. The groovy patterns add an extra detail to the already chic pleated skirt and bustier – two silhouettes which are very much on trend for SS21. Double denim never looked so good and we can’t wait to wear this trend out.

Doja Cat

Ethereal in floral, Doja Cat wears a dress by Mukzin with gorgeous intricate details, from the oversized baby collar, pearl embellishments and puffy sleeves all the way to the bright shades of pink and green – this piece is perfect for Spring. She’s paired the outfit with a pair of clear hoop earrings and a ditsy pearl necklace.

Duckie Thot

In new Louis Vuitton, with the monochrome monogram blazer paired with a leather mini skirt – Duckie Thot is giving us major inspiration for a smart and sophisticated boss girl look this Spring. Slim fit, with buttoned details and outlined pockets – a piece like this will take your suiting game to the next level.

Nicki Minaj

Nicki took to Instagram in the new Fendi Summer Vertigo collection, featuring their timeless Zucca print which is making a comeback. The jumpsuit and co-ordinating bag are in a vibrant glazed blue shade which Nicki matched with a pair of Louboutin patent sandals. Let’s not forget to mention her iconic layered chains – an accessory which is s must for your SS21 shopping list.
