Summer is quickly approaching, and we are all ready to go out and enjoy all that London has to offer. This year, London is hosting some of the best events to do just that; from food festivals to vibrant live music, there is something out there for everyone that will, without a doubt, inject fun and excitement into your diary!

Photo London 2022 (Thu 12th-15th May 2022, Somerset House)
Somerset House is welcoming back the seventh edition of their Photo London fair. Hosting more than 100 exhibitors and showcasing some of the best talents in the photography industry. Visitors will have the opportunity to collect and discover some of the most prolific photographic work that the world has to offer. Highlights of the fair include Hannah Hughes (Robert Morat, Berlin) and Edward Burtynsky (Flowers Gallery, London) as well as a special focus on galleries from China.

Weird Sensations feel good: The world of ASMR (Fri 13th May – 16th Oct 2022, The Design Museum)
ASMR has taken the internet by storm and is everywhere these days! Millions of people have been introduced to the marvellous concept of gaining pleasure through a natural Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, often seen in the form of tingling and calmness spurred on by sound and touch.
The Design Museum has come together to host the world-first exhibition showcasing how people are creating sensory responses through the use of new and exciting materials. You can grab a ticket here!
Picasso Ingres: Face to Face (3rd June- 9th Oct 2022, National Gallery)
For the die-hard art fans out there, we have found something that is a first in the world of art! ‘Madame Moitessier’ by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, created in 1895 was famously the inspiration behind Pablo Picasso’s ‘Woman with a Book’ painting. And, for the first time, these two works of art will be shown side by side at the National Gallery this year. You need to see this!
Taste of London (Wed 15th – Sun 19th June 2022, Regents Park)
If food is something that is more up your street, don’t worry, we have you covered. Regents Park will be taken over this summer for two weeks to bring you the best food the business has to offer. What can you expect? Cooking classes, trying new dishes from around the world, and some much-needed dancing in Tastes’ very own pop-up club. And, if that is not enough, why not take some local produce home for the whole family to share?

Gin & Rum Festival (8th -9th July 2022, St Mary’s Church)
We all need a good drink and a good boogie after the last two years, and we have found the perfect place to let our hair down and let the good times roll. If you are thirsty and up for learning all things gin and rum, then this festival is the one for you. Party the night away while tasting some of the best gin and rums on the market – they have a whopping 120 to offer! The festival is coming to London at St Mary’s church for two days only, so hurry up and get booking!
Our Time on Earth (Thu 5 May- Mon 29th Aug 2022, The Curve)
The Barbican is bringing us a thought-provoking exhibition that explores our incredible planet and how it works. Studying the connection between human beings and the planet, this immersive exploration features ways in which technology can bring us closer to nature and reconnect us to our roots. BST British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park (24th June – 10th July 2022, Hyde Park)
This Multi-day festival will get your blood pumping with its incredible lineup; there is something for everybody! From iconic Rock and Roll band The Rolling Stones to Elton John, as well as Nile Rodgers and Adele. This is the hottest event to go to this summer to witness a piece of history. The London Cheese Crawl (Sun 15th May- 25th Dec 2022)
For the cheese fanatics among you, this cheese crawl will definitely deliver. The crawl starts in Mayfair, where you will be able to taste some of the most refined cheeses London has to offer. Along the way, you will discover everything this Dairy indulgence is good for, whether putting it on top of toast or melting in the oven there is always a place for cheese. Yam carnival (27th August 2022, Clapham Common, London)
Having originally planned to launch in 2020 as a weekend to celebrate African culture, this music festival is a haven for those who love and appreciate genres such as Afrobeat, Reggaeton, Contemporary RnB, Hip Hop and Dancehall. Finally, this summer, you can now go and experience a much-needed celebration of Black music, food and culture. Tickets are available here!
Field day Festival (20th August 2022, Victoria Park)
For one day only, Field Day is coming to us in Victoria Park, presenting their most stacked lineup yet! Audiences will be treated to sets from The Chemical Brothers, as well as legends Kraftwerk 3D and Floating Points. This festival will get you dancing in no time! Grab your tickets here.
City Splash Festival (29th May 2022, Brockwell Park, Herne Hill)
This is one not to miss! The one-day festival will be taking place at Brockwell Park to celebrate the very best in Reggae, Dancehall and Afrobeats. Showcasing the important impact that Caribbean and African music have on British culture. There will even be a Caribbean food festival to go with it, with vendors that will showcase Black Eats LDN. 24/24 “Le Bleu” Jacquemus + Selfridges
Calling all fashion lovers; you have to explore this new and exciting pop-up that has opened just this week at London’s Selfridges! Le Bleu will not disappoint, Designer Simon Porte Jacquemus has redesigned his bathroom, for a new and innovative retail concept that will be sure to get your eyes sparkling. These hyperphysical stores are a thing of the future and something we can really get behind.
