Collaborations have been all over the fashion landscape this year and we couldn’t be happier about it. Who doesn’t love a good collaboration? We certainly do.
Even if some took us by complete surprise, like Gucci’s unexpected partnership with Balenciaga, they were all fresh and exciting news for us fashion aficionados. Many took us into a different sphere of the fashion world, and a different side to your usual designers and their designs. Whether it was the case of two labels joining for a sustainable collection, such as Ganni X Awhualia, or incredible designers venturing on a collection for everyday brands, such as Simone Rocha for H&M, we were here for it.
Fortunately, the time for collaborations hasn’t passed yet… and we doubt it ever will. As the weather is heating up, so are spring collections and the fashion collaborations following suit.
Here’s a look into the anticipated partnerships to look out for this spring:
House of Harlow 1960 x Sofia Richie
Who: Sofia Richie
What: Sofia Richie partners up for the first time with her sister, Nicole Richie, for an exclusive collection for House of Harlow 1960 (Nicole Richie’s clothing and accessories line for Revolve). It is a collection all about summer in the ’70s, that brings back the easy-to-wear styles and day-to-night looks, and the best part? It is inspired by the inimitable Lauren Hutton.

Aries x Lee Jeans
Who: Aries
What: A “Neoclassical spaghetti Western” style collaboration between Aries and Lee Jeans, as explained by Aries co-founder -Sofia Prantera. The collaboration is a 10-piece unisex collection inspired by the ‘70s and ‘80s (once again we’re here to reminisce), and the Italian understanding of American culture. Oh well, rather inspired by the Western take of Italian film directors, such as Sergio Leone, on American culture.

Levi’s x Miu Miu
Who: Miu Miu
What: Miu Miu is redirecting to fashion sustainability with a responsible collection by the hands of Levi’s. The two brands will work together to launch an upcycled collection, creating and reimagining pieces from past garments. The collection will present timeless pieces such as the 501 jeans and Trucker jacket in a Miu Miu style, with hand-embroidered flowers and jewellery, giving a touch of femininity and spring.
Where: The ultra-limited edition collection will be unveiled at Selfridges in London, and IAPM in Shangain in mid-May. After which it will be available on www.miumiu.com, in 18 Miu Miu stores throughout the world and finally at the Dover Street Market of L.A.
