Luckily, numerous brands have collaborated with Universal Studios to create exclusive limited-edition collections inspired by the iconic musical, allowing you to embrace your inner witch with expressive makeup and defy gravity in sky-high heels this October, and we’re here to tell you about the top 6 collaborations you’ll want to know about before the movie hits theatres next month.
r.e.m. beauty
Ariana Grande’s own beauty company, r.e.m. beauty, launched their limited- edition Wicked collection on the 1st of October and is a totally ozmopolitan range of nine exclusive products straight from the mind of Wicked’s Glinda. Based on the themes, motifs, and scenes of the film, the collection consists of the ozdust eyeshadow palette, Galinda makeup set (lipstick, liquid eyeshadow, eyeliner, and blush + lip stick), Elphaba makeup set (lip balm, liquid eyeshadow, eyeliner, and blush + lip stick), luxury beautification undereye masks, ‘so popular’ pH adaptive lip oil, ‘tulip field’ lip stain, and Galinda glow drops. Also launched on October 1st, in perfect timing for the Halloween season, was O.P.I’s Wicked collaboration is taking nail colours to a while new level. Launched 15th October was bag powerhouse Vera Bradley’s Wicked collab that saw two new collections added to their portfolio highlighting Elphaba and Glinda. These elaborate silhouettes and opulent designs celebrate the unlikely friendship in the movie and feature five exclusive patters: Beautiful, Land of Oz, Bewitching Pink, and Land of Oz Beads. While the Elphaba collection skilfully weaves emerald green and distinctive symbols of a resilient rebel in a dance of bewitching patterns, while the Glinda collection is a flourishing motif inspired by a bubbly and charming figure who draws others in with her glamorous character.
