While most of us may have only just settled into Autumn, beauty brands are back to remind us that Christmas is only around the corner and with it comes a handful of highly anticipated holiday releases. This week, it was Morphe’s turn to announce their Christmas offering and they did not disappoint.
The Simmer and Shimmer holiday capsule collection is available now on Morphe.com and in all Morphe stores. To our delight, Morphe revealed the face of their latest campaign is none other than Ashley Strong, also known as strashme, who was crowned the winner of James Charles’ beauty competition “Instant Influencer” back in May. Ashley captured our attention with her bold looks and daring creativity and was praised in the competition for removing her tough exterior and allowing the judges to see her vulnerability.
Ashley revealed the collection in an emotional YouTube video and told her loving audience that she is “bursting” with excitement over the brand collaboration and noted that the release was a very “surreal” experience.
At the forefront of the release, Morphe’s latest palette – 35XO Natural Flirt Artistry Palette (£24). Filled with glitter and matte neutrals with pink and purples hues, the 35-pan palette ensures to provide a sultry glam look this Christmas. Ashley expressed in her video that the palette has you covered for all occasions – from job interviews to holiday parties.
Ashley looks incredible in the glittering red campaign shots, sporting a fierce hot pink cut crease eye look and a glossy neutral lip. As well as the show-stopping palette, the Simmer and Shimmer holiday capsule collection features a brand new 10-piece brush lust brush kit (£29), playfully-named Out & A Pout Lip Trios in the shades Sweet Tea and Berry Necessary (£18). And, of course, no holiday look would be complete without a bold pair of lashes. Morphe has us covered with their Everlasting Love Premium Lashes Trio (£22). To lock in the look and ensure you’ll be glowing all night long, or just until Christmas dinner is over – the Mist Me, Mist You Continuous Setting Mist Duo (£21) nicely rounds off Morphe’s Christmas offering and the traditional gold and red packaging has us counting down to the big day.
While pinks and purples may not be the typical choice for holiday make-up, Morphe has definitely caught our attention with this release.
