Halloween! A night of all your favourite childhood characters drunkenly stumbling around the icy nights of October. Gone are the days of trick and treating, and in turn, a night of the very best beauty inspiration from the hallowed feeds of your favourite celebs – Goth is after all in this season. From clowns to mutants to icons, the only rule is that you have look to die for, and in our celebs we trust for that to always be the case.
Kylie Jenner must have some sort of deal with the devil because everyone’s favourite lip mogul always seems to have the most iconic Halloween Instagram looks. This year, she was channelling Bride of Frankenstein and it was of course drop-dead gorgeous. Kendall is obviously the supermodel of the family, but there’s something about Kylie’s editorials that we just know will live on for as long as the Kardashian dynasty lasts – which shows no sign of slowing.
Doja Cat is well known for her public theatre, her hot girl tunes, and her many unique fashion moments. It seems just yesterday everyone was obsessing over her looks by the makeup artist of the moment Sophia Sinot last fashion week, and she’s back just as suddenly with a simple but effective clown beauty look – it’s giving insane clown posey. Sometimes the best bet on Halloween is something that you won’t a) have to spend all night explaining b) sweat too much in and c) won’t be too hard to sleepily wipe off at the end of the night.
It’s been done before, and it’ll be done again, but we just can’t get enough of it. Controversial it couple of the moment Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly paid an ode to the most instragrammable couple of the moment, Pam and Tommy, and proved how much could be done with some hair dye, a white wife beater and some lip liner.
Ashley Graham is an angel amongst us, but last night, she really was just an angel. The supermodel wowed in a blue and white ensemble including wings, a little bit of glitter and the most adorable spikey space buns we’ve ever seen. Y2k will never truly die so long as angels still wear butterfly clips.
Red hair is obviously big during the autumn months, and we know from the past two fashion weeks that it’s everyone’s favourite hair moment this year, which is why this Ariel look on Winnie Harlow is so hot! Its also amazing how celebrities – and their hard-working hair, makeup and style teams – come together to make a look so on trend but still so fun.
Kim Kardashian took a page out of Saweetie’s look and brought Mystique to life this Halloween. Showing up to a non-costume party accidentally in costume, Kim wore a full-body blue suit including scales, blue face paint, yellow contacts a red oiled wig. Pulling up with her girlfriends dressed as Magik and Selene, Kim K reminded us why the best things in life always come in threes.
Black Swan is to girls what Patrick Bateman is to guys, and that’s why any girl who dons the fit gets blessed with such incredible photos for their feed. The look is simple, with a slicked back bun and black feather detailing and a simple black leotard, yet, it’s both instantly recognisable and very chic in equal measure. Kudos Olivia.
Addison Rae has been making moves for some time to go from a child-friendly TikTok star to all round fashion icon. The unjust hate towards her that reached climax during the last MET gala has fizzled, with good reason too, as she proves herself iconic beyond her years this spooky season. Whether it’s her Gaga look or this insane Kate Moss throwback with a cigarette to boot, Addison certainly proved herself this Halloween.
