Beauty At The BAFTAs – Our Favourites From The Night

The BAFTA TV Awards were held last night, and it’s fair to say TV’s leading ladies seriously showed up. Dressed to the nines, the stars took this opportunity to showcase some dramatic glam and perfectly styled hair to make this one of the standout award ceremonies of the year.

Nicola Coughlan

This might be our favourite smokey eye, ever. Peacock blue and perfectly blended, Nicola wowed in her vibrant colours. The eye was curated by makeup artist Neil Young who used the Hypnose Palette in Bleu Hypnotique and the Lancome Ombre Hypnose Stylo in Blue Nuit.

Vick Hope

Vick stunned with her disco ball twinkle skin, warm smoked-out eye and long hair (courtesy of brand Boho Locs) which was styled into a deep side part. Hairstylist Michelle Sultan used gilded gold accessories to decorate the Bohemian look. Makeup artist Abbie May used the Sleek Makeup Highlighting Elixir in “sun lit” for the gleam.

There is so much about this glam that we LOVE. From the intricately braided hair in the front which was left loose at the back, her shimmery smoked-out eye to the nude glossy lip, the whole glam was impeccable.

Billie Piper

Billie was giving us all the 90’s vibes with the scraped back hair, scrunchie and two stands pulled out to frame her face. Over on makeup, artist Heidi North went for bold brows, a dusty pink lip and a subtly winged out eye.

Golda Rosheuve

Finger waves are always a beauty chart-topper and have been since the 1920’s. Golda Rosheuve allowed the hairstyle to speak for itself and the glam was kept fairly natural with a smoked-out eye and a neutral pinky lip.

A’whora

Woah, RuPaul’s drag race star really bought the drama with his glam. Looking otherworldy, she stunned in neon yellow eye shadow peppered with glitter, SciFi eyebrows and sculpted silver waves.

Lawrence Chaney

The Scottish Drag Royalty’s glam was inspired by Greek mythology to which she called herself ‘Thalia, the muse of comedy.’ The glam is fierce and the hair is high.
