This year’s award season has made us all dream in many ways, and last night’s Billboard Music Awards were no exception. From slowly easing our way out of the pandemic, to all the fashion breakthroughs that arose from this time, there is a breeze of hope and desire that is evidently making magical things happen – at least on the red carpet. The night of fashion, packed with the best-dressed A-listers, was a guaranteed success, and it perfectly sparked our ever so burning desire to be able to go out again. Let’s indulge our eyes in yesterday’s outfits.

MEGAN FOX IN MUGLER

Celebs’ love for the fashion house is an intricately exquisite affair, and one that will definitely persist in the future. She accompanied his boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly, but his Balmain look was negligeable when paired next to her stunning bodysuit dress. Despite it was his magical night, he let Megan be the star. After all, they are both sensational no matter their outfits.

DOJA CAT IN BALMAIN

We are all in awe with Doja. From her insane talent to her mesmerizing outfits, her looks perfectly encapsulate the essence of her music, in a way that complements her personality exquisitely and that all celebrities should learn from. Our star even differentiated herself from the rest by pulling off a Balmain look from the archives, which in fashion is considered to be a bold, brave move, just like her. The striped bandeau top with big puffy sleeves works wonders with the geometry of the look, and it is paired with a vintage looking pair of flared trousers with the same motif and an open bottom. But the real focus is on the necklace: the songstress wowed the audience with a turquoise crystal looking pendant. It’s dramatic, it’s hippy, it’s quirky and it’s camp: it’s Doja.

KAROL G

Karol wears a stunning crystal mesh bodysuit dress by Celia Kritharioti. The dress is everything we’ll want to wear this season: from the divine draping to the open cut in the front, the dress immaculately hugs her body to perfection whilst giving homage to a designer that isn’t so much on the celeb spotlight, and it clearly should.

SAWEETIE

Saweetie is wearing an orange gown by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture. The singer is always challenging her look execution, and we just can’t stop watching!

ALICIA KEYS

The singer wears a coral pink Valentino co-ord for this year’s Billboard awards, with a long statement trail coat that really brought the look from casual to dressy. The look was designed especially for the star by Pierpaolo Piccioli himself, and Keys wears it with pride and glamour.

KEHLANI

The R&B legend is wearing Tony Ward Couture. We don’t know why puffy sleeves that seem to be poorly made are so loved this season; nonetheless, the top paired with this gown actually complements the look in a good way, and Kehlani definitely knows how to champion the colour red.

PRIYANKA CHOPRA

The presenter of the night wears a stunning Dolce & Gabbana gown. Despite the turbulent history of the brand, we can’t take our eyes off this magnificent creation. The detailing around the décolleté, as well as the crystals along the bodysuit are divine, and with its simple sophistication she was easily one of the best dressed of the night.

GABRIELLE UNION

Another presenter of the night, Gabrielle Union, wears a white Prada dress to show her stunning figure at 48, paired with a cute pink Prada bag.

HER

H.E.R wears red sequined Dior and her statement shades-on look, this time opting for aviators this time. The bold lip and simple silver jewellery complement the look well.
