BFC Partners Again With Diet Coke For 2022’s Fashion Awards

Diet Coke has been announced as the Principal Partner for The British Fashion Council’s (BFC) Fashion Awards 2022. Diet Coke will therefore work closely with the British Fashion Council to ensure The Fashion Awards provide a captivating event which can be viewed by fashion lovers around the globe. The awards will showcase talent in the fashion industry and demonstrate fashion’s entwining role with British Culture. BFC Chief Executive, Caroline Rush states they look forward to their partnership together and to “celebrate all the exceptional individuals and businesses that have made significant contributions to the global fashion community this year”. We suspect BFC and Diet Coke will be a match made in heaven.

Diet Coke is no stranger to the fashion scene, as they recently partnered with London Fashion Week (LFW) which saw the launch of their ‘Love What You Love’ campaign. The campaign focused on staying true to yourself and self-expression, both of which can describe LFW’s core values. The appointment of fashion legend, Kate Moss, as Creative Director also suggests Diet Coke are planting their roots firmly in the fashion world with no plans to uproot. Omar Sadiq-Baig, Senior Brand Manager at The Coca-Cola Company, supports our thoughts as he states, “Diet Coke has become synonymous with the fashion industry”. Therefore, this partnership is furthering Diet Coke’s spot within the fashion world, and we are excited about their future involvement in fashion. This year has also been a significant year for the brand as they have recently celebrated their 40th birthday!

The Fashion Awards 2022, which will be presented on Monday the 5th of December will provide worldwide streaming, custom-made content and an amplified platform, all of which will celebrate the opportunities fashion can provide. Diet Coke will ensure all viewers are immersed in the exciting atmosphere of the event as they showcase the famous Fashion Awards Red Carpet LIVE on YouTube. The LIVESTREAM can be viewed on The BFC YouTube channel from 6:15 PM GMT. If that isn’t enough exciting innovation, Diet Coke is pulling out all the tricks as they employ the Diet Coke Glambot to capture the guests in their well-anticipated outfits, hold exclusive interviews and provide behind-the-scenes content. It will truly be unmissable. Keep an eye out for the line-up of hosts, presenters and performers which will be announced within the upcoming weeks.

The awards themselves will feature Designer of the Year and The BFC Foundation Award, which will see talented individuals within the fashion industry be awarded on the night. The designers, brands and creatives who have initiated positive change in their work and the wider industry will also have the chance to be recognised with the 15 available Leaders of Change Awards. A special Recognition Award for Cultural Curation will be awarded to Jefferson Hack for his work in empowering young generations through his creativity and providing creative opportunities for those. Hack’s award ties in nicely with the NEW WAVE: Creatives awards, which honours 50 young talents, from around the globe, for their innovation.
