A new campaign for G-Star Hardcore Denim features the model, actress, and singer Cara Delevingne. This campaign introduces G-Star’s trademark designs with a modern twist. Throughout the brand’s history, it has always aimed to challenge the status quo. With Delevingne, otherwise known as a “true original” showcasing the new designs. The model is perfect to represent the brand’s philosophy as an outspoken and rebellious force and androgynous fashion icon, she has already shown the world a variety of sides to her character, and G-Star approaches its new collection with the exact same vision.
Set in an abstract world, where rules and logic don’t exist, Delevingne appears alongside other models traversing surreal cities. In an abstract setting, you will experience unexpected dimensions, distorted perspectives, and unexpected gravitational forces.
With the colder months approaching, G-Star has got our backs when it comes to finding the perfect pair of jeans. They have once again reborn the meaning of denim with gender fluid garments and liberating silhouettes. The brand has unveiled two key new styles (of course modelled by Cara): The Stray and the Type 49.
The stray features a straight fit with an ultra high-rise and is inspired by the iconic 1950s girl gangs who challenged and rebelled against austerity. Featuring a youthful and androgynous vibe, it offers a classic style with a rebellious edge.
The Type 49, on the other hand, is designed for both men and women; offering a modern take on an old-fashioned design with its high rise and relaxed straight leg.
Taking a classic style and making it contemporary; celebrating youth and defying gender norms, these two styles are reinventing the fashion of the next generation of revolutionaries.
