Doechii Reign Supremacy: Dominating Paris Fashion Week & More

In just a few months, Doechii has gone from an underground sensation to a Grammy winning artist, a runway star, and one of fashion’s most exciting new faces. Whether she’s sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week, walking the runway in Milan, or performing alongside Lauryn Hill, the rapper continues to make waves with every move.

This season, her fashion was as genre-defying as her music fluid, fearless, and utterly unforgettable. She didn’t just attend Fashion Week; she owned it. Doechii’s Paris debut was packed with standout looks that felt both fresh and referential, blending high fashion with cultural nostalgia. Doechii is proving she’s not just a rapper, she’s a movement.

Paris Fashion Week 2025: A Debut Like No Other

For her first-ever Paris Fashion Week, Doechii and her stylist Sam Woolf curated an eclectic mix of looks, each one a statement in itself. From bohemian Chloé vibes to 80s Tom Ford glam, she transformed with every show.

A Career-Defining Performance with Lauryn Hill | March 8, 2025

Doechii joins Lauryn Hill on stage in Miami for a surprise duet of “Doo Wop (That Thing).”

This was more than just a performance; it was a full-circle moment. Weeks earlier, Doechii had made history at the Grammys, becoming only the third woman ever to win Best Rap Album. Doechii commented on the whole ordeal saying “Thank you Miss Lauryn Hill. My heart is so full. She is my hero. This is the greatest honour hip hop could give me.”

Doechii x Nike The After Dark Tour

Doechii is announced as the headliner for Nike’s After Dark Tour, a women’s race series in Los Angeles on June 7, 2025.

Doechii x DSquared2 Runway | February 25, 2025

Doechii makes her runway debut at DSquared2, stepping out of an armored truck and strutting in true Y2K fashion.

Before Paris, Doechii took Milan by storm, walking the DSquared2 runway in true early 2000s style. Stepping out of an armored truck (opened by Tyson Beckford, no less), she ran down the catwalk in five-inch heels, performed “Nissan Altima,” and later closed the show with JT from City Girls for their track “Alter Ego.”

Her outfit? A backpack-corset hybrid, paracord laces, belted denim microshorts, and a high-low graphic top a gritty, rebellious homage to Y2K streetwear.

The Evolution of Doechii: From Struggle to Stardom

Doechii’s rise hasn’t been easy. In a recent interview, she opened up about her struggles with bullying and suicidal thoughts, revealing how she created “Doechii” as a way to survive.

She stated “Jaylah might’ve been getting bullied, but I decided Doechii wouldn’t stand for that. My whole attitude was different. It stuck.”

Now, she’s not just surviving, she’s thriving. From making Grammy history to dominating Fashion Week, Doechii is proving she’s here to stay, evolve, and redefine culture on her own terms.

With a Nike performance, a festival season lineup, and more fashion moments to come, Doechii’s 2025 is just getting started.
