Emma Raducanu’s overnight rise to fame has been nothing but successful in the last few months. Not only did she turn into one of the world’s biggest tennis stars, but she has also worked with Chanel and Tiffany & Co, whilst attending some of the most exclusive events such as the Met Gala.
For the new James Bond ‘No Time To Die’ premiere Emma wore a Grecian inspired silver-white silk dress and matching sandals from Dior’s Cruise 2022 collection. She paired the look with diamond leaf-shaped earrings, three rings and a bracelet – most likely by Tiffany & Co.
“It felt heavenly…Being able to wear a dress like that made with all the magic in the Dior ateliers was a totally unique experience. The detailed embroidery was exceptional, and I was so honoured to attend my first movie premiere in it.” shared Raducanu with Vogue.
Since then, there have been speculations that she might have signed a deal with Dior or that she would potentially become a brand ambassador.
Today it was officially announced that Emma Raducanu will become Dior’s newest ambassador – for both Maria Grazia Chiuri’s womenswear collections and the brand’s makeup and skincare lines. The teenage sensation confirmed this on Twitter when she expressed her excitement and thanked the house for the opportunity.
In her interview with Vogue, Raducanu also spoke about the Dior’s values and what determined her to make this decision: “Maria Grazia’s work empowers women to feel confident in the iconic Dior cut, which I feel is very unique…The sincerity of her approach and the way she turns shows into collective and meaningful events unquestionably influenced me in my choice.”
Emma Raducanu may be a tennis prodigy, but she is also consolidating her status in the fashion industry; we can only expect her image and career to evolve and grow even more!
