Ever since Euphoria premiered in 2019, everyone has been going crazy over makeup artist Donni Davy’s colourful makeup looks. “She’s been dreaming up impossible-to-find makeup products and shades since her very first film job and [is] excited [to] be able to bring a new level of makeup creativity to the world with Half Magic” and immediately started working on her makeup line with the creators of Euphoria when #euphoriamakeup spread around the world. Here is everything you need to know about Half Magic’s first drop:
The first launch includes 22 products. From shimmers and setting sprays to face gems and studs – Half magic delivers what every Euphoria Fan or makeup enthusiast has dreamed off.
The highly pigmented Chromaddiction eye paints come in two finishes, matte and shimmer, with four bold colours each. Red-orange, green, coral pink or champagne, there is a colour for everyone to experiment with graphic liners or try an all-over colour. If you are craving a glittery look, you can reach for the Glitterpill, a multidimensional glitter gel available in four shades.
Perfect for our Euphoria makeup dreams, the brand comes out with three different face stickers. They come in fun cloud, lightning and spike designs and have a holographic or glittery finish to electrify your look. If stickers are not your thing, you can use the sparkling face gems or silver and rose gold studs instead.
The magical duo chrome highlighter gives every minimal makeup look an exciting touch. Colour shifting at every angle, the highlighter gives you a unique glow. It comes in violet that shifts into blue, which is perfect for darker skin tones, while the champagne highlighter has lilac pearls.
Half Magic has a limited-edition lip kit that comes in brown and lilac for the lips. The Lip Kits have a velvety texture and are transfer- and waterproof.
With the Dew Lock, a hydrating setting spray, you can finish off your makeup. It sets makeup to last all day long while leaving a dewy real-skin finish.
Half Magic also released some makeup tools. If you are new to makeup, you can use the reusable silicone Wing Guide, which helps you draw perfect wings, and the tweezers are perfect for applying the face gems and studs.
