Icons In Icons is the latest release by Canadian luxury outwear and ready-to-wear label Moose Knuckles, set to feature its signature icons collection of outwear with some new design touches for its new AW22 collection drop. The collections consist of four essential styles crafted for men and women, amongst those: the Stirling Parka, the 3Q Jacket, and the Ballistic Bomber. The designs have all been crafted with this autumn’s most anticipated colours in mind. The Icons collection will also include vest options for both men and women for the first time, The Montreal Vest and the Lexington Vest.
The campaign includes huge names in the industry both on camera and behind it. Acclaimed photographer Luis Alberto Rodriguez and Fashion editor and stylist Carlos Nazario came together to shoot and style the collection which includes some of the biggest cultural icons of our time such as Wu-Tang Clan’s Method Man and Russian Doll’s Natasha Lyonne – two venerated artists in the industry known for their rule-breaking perspectives.
“It’s a dream come true for the brand to partner with Method Man and Natasha Lyonne to celebrate our Icons collection. We’ve created the ultimate synergy combining their legacies and our label’s foundation,” said Moose Knuckles Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Victor Luis. “Both are powerful forces and originators in their respective fields making them perfect choices as the faces of the campaign.”
People throw around the word icon sparingly these days, from fashion fails to viral memes, but in the Icons of Icons campaign video Method Man defines in uncertain terms what it really means to be an icon: “Icon: When you do something well and it keeps going after you’re not here, that’s when it becomes iconic.”
As testament to this statement, the icons collection is all about taking classic signature styles from the brand and breathing new life into them in unorthodox but timeless ways. The new colours debuted in this drop include a neutral blush pink hue called ‘Rose Smoke for women and for men, a warm camel brown named Tapenade. In another first for the label, this collection will include bombers and vests in camouflage print, so you can look on this trend this season whether you’re wandering off the beaten path or taking on the concrete jungle.
Signature pieces set to be revamped include the 3Q jacket and Stirling Parka which have continuously been bestsellers for the brand. Design features such as durable water-repellent shells, ethically sourced 100% nylon lining, detachable hoods and premium rib-knit storm cuffs. All outwear styles will include the signature ‘J’ seam with four front pocks, durable YKK metal zippers, signature Moose Knuckle branded trims and soft-touch brushed pocketing.
The collection will retail from £487 to £1325 and are available for purchase now at selected retailers and on Moose Knuckles.
