Summer is approaching and with it is Doja Cat’s upcoming album Planet Her.
While we impatiently wait for an album that will most likely mark our summer days why not indulge in ‘Kiss Me More’?
‘Kiss Me More’ is the new release and first-ever collaboration between Doja Cat and SZA. The song released today, April 9th, gives us a first look into the upcoming project, one that is characterised by a catchy rhythm, sensual vocals and incredible aesthetics.
Doja Cat’s distinguished music style accompanied by SZA’s R’n’B touch exceeded our expectations and resulted in a song showcasing the acclaimed talent of the two singers, surprising us all with a new melody to add to our current playlists.
The song had already been teased in March with SZA interviewing Doja Cat for V Magazine and describing ‘Kiss Me More’ as a “ different strut”, one that would include all of their favourite genres; from playful R’n’B to house and disco music.
But the song isn’t just a hit in terms of sounds, its accompanying visuals are just as amazing… ‘Kiss Me More’ is set into an idyllic pink landscape, one in which the two singers embody a dreamy summer full of confidence. The music video transports us into the perfect scenario where to experience and enjoy this “different strut” and make the wait for Doja Cat’s upcoming album (and hopefully SZA’s too) worth the while.
