In April, the award-winning singer launched her inclusive shapewear line “Yitty” in partnership with Fabletics and described it as “no-shame, smile-inducing, and size-inclusive”. Since its launch, Yitty has dropped two collections, recently making appearances to present her new brand as well as her new album released on Friday.
Lizzo seduced the public in bright blue shapewear from her lingerie brand, Yitty, on Friday as she performed on ‘Today’ Following ‘Special’ album drop. She completed the sexy ensemble with sapphire eye make-up and dramatic lashes. Lizzo had her hair styled in delicate curls with a side parting.
Just a few months after launching Yitty by Lizzo, activewear brand Fabletics introduced the first Yitty shop-in-shop in one of its existing stores. The first Yitty shop-in-shop within Fabletics is located in Fashion Place Mall in Murray, Utah. Plus there’s good news for Yitty fans because Fabletics has said it plans to open a Yitty shop-in-shop in three other locations this year.
The singer revealed to her 116 million Instagram followers that the lingerie brand will retail stores in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia, and Washington DC.
She captioned the post: “Can’t believe it’s actually that time, and I can’t wait for you to have this experience irl.”.
In sizes XS to 6XL, Lizzo’s underwear already stands out from the rest of the shapewear market in nude shades, since YITTY will also be offering colourful, strong, flashy shades. So much so that we could even see ourselves wearing them as full-fledged outerwear, and not just as underwear.
YITTY has three lines: a seamless, ultra-light collection to accompany curves, called Nearly Naked; a smooth fishnet collection called Mesh Me; and a colourful collection to be worn as outerwear if desired, Major Label.
All made from recycled materials, and packaged in recycled and recyclable materials.
