How’d you choose your skincare products – reviews? Or most recently, skinfluencers? Whatever your methods are, we all unanimously want proven track records and results at affordable rates. Now that we have spent more than a year estranged from our dermatologists and facialists, it can be hard to get our hands on the high-tech skincare brands that aren’t readily available in your average Joe pharmacy. However, now that Britain is coming out of lockdown with bells on, it’s time to delve back into the healthy skincare world to look your absolute best for the summertime. Have a look at the brands that we recommend:
Professor Augustinus Bader
Professor Augustinus Bader is a pro in the field of regenerative medicine, and he seems to have sussed out the most relevant stem cells needed for skin repair. Practically all celebrities swear by his products (Victoria Beckham even bought out a collaboration with him). Try the Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer by the two. A bit expensive, but worth the investment.
Dr. Barbara Sturm
Back in the noughties, Dr. Barbara Sturm was a beauty editor’s best-kept secret, then Kim Kardashian with that vampire facial (her face covered in blood) on her Instagram and now the brand is stocked in Hollywood’s cabinets. Her MC1 cream is a plasma-based cream that mixes the patient’s white blood cells and proteins into a moisturizer, which will make you have seriously glowy skin.
Lancer
Dr. Harold Lancer is a celebrity surgeon and skincare expert who calls the likes of Beyonce, Oprah and Kim Kardashian West clients – his products will nearly rewind the marching of time (as far as your face is concerned). The line you’ll find instore is exactly the one he uses in his clinic, so you will be getting Hollywood standard from the comfort of your own home.
MZ Skin
This is the brainchild of Dr. Maryam Zamania, a global leading Aesthetic Doctor and Oculoplastic Surgeon with 15 years of practice in the UK. She firmly believes that a beautiful complexion starts with a consistent, daily skincare routine – less is more. The brand has a beautiful array of products, try the Hydrate and Nourish for this summer (also the LED masks look pretty cool).
