Met Afterparty Outfits Inspiring Our Going-Out Looks

The Met Gala this year was a feast for the eyes, with pearls, tweed, and flowers galore. If you thought the red carpet looks were good, just wait until you see the afterparty looks. Here are our favourite outfits that you can recreate for your own special event:

The Met Gala co-chair was definitely one of the best dressed at the Gala, and she kept the gold embellished theme going for her Xhosa afterparty, wearing a black leather bodysuit over tights with a gold body painted on it. She matched this with gold earrings and sunglasses and added a silver sequin blazer on top, embroidered with regal gold Baroque stitching.

Emily Ratajkowski

EmRata made a change from the black-and-white theme of the evening, donning this sparkly purple sequin halter dress from Versace’s SS02 collection. She paired the super short dress with silver bracelets, black heels, and a metallic and crystal-embellished pink bag from Gedebe.
