With the spring season being fully underway brand campaigns are popping up left, right and centre with new collections ready to update all wardrobes and kick them firmly into spring mode. One of the latest campaigns to drop is from Parisian brand Nour Hammour, a brand famous for its high-quality leather products that cover coats, jackets, bags and beyond.
The campaign for the brand’s SS22 collection is a combination of timeless Parisian chic and effortlessly cool attitude which ensures that the campaign itself also feels timeless and undeniably classy. Photographed around the streets of the fashion capital, Paris, the campaign showcases models strutting around the city day and night, looking like they have stepped straight out of an indie movie set in the capital. It is all trés chic!
There’s a great focus on classic Parisian architecture throughout the campaign, with models posing in front of gigantic pieces of marble artwork and lone shots of the art and sculptures themselves too, giving the campaign a definite historical vibe but one that works perfectly with the fashion collection being showcased. There are also some more down-to-earth shots of models walking the empty streets of the city, passing by ruby red parked cars, lounging around on steps and stone walls and, of course, the obligatory dog shot, this one caught with an adorable chocolate Pomeranian.
The campaign definitely has a dreamlike atmosphere to it despite being so grounded in reality. The heavy emphasis on ancient sculptures and the way the shots are captured, with distorted and blurred effects on some photos and a filmic filter across the entire set, both give the campaign a whimsical vibe that is playful but timelessly elegant at the same time, a perfect combination for the collection of clothes being promoted.
Speaking of the clothes, they are exactly the style of cool that we have come to expect from Nour Hammour. Jackets and coats made from leather and suede are at the centre of this collection and all look completely timeless but with undeniable aspects of modernism to them too. Whether it’s intricately studded biker jackets, cropped jackets or long, flowing coats in bright and popping colours, each design of the collection is a perfect combination of classic and new which creates a wonderfully fresh feeling.
The majority of the collection comes in shades of cool neutrals ranging from whites to browns to beiges to blacks, all of which are perfect for wearing year-round, not only in spring. However, the brand hasn’t kept colour completely in the closet for the collection, with trench coats and jackets also coming in an array of lilacs, purples, blues and reds for an appropriate pop of colour that is perfect for the current spring weather!
