Off-White have been one of the leading names in the fashion industry for years but, until now, they have never dipped their toes into the fragrance and beauty sectors. Today Off-White’s first ever beauty collection, Off-White Paperwork, releases and ushers in a new era for the renowned house.
The line was one of the last projects worked on by previous creative director Virgil Abloh before his unfortunate passing late last year and is inspired by the late designer’s love for working off of a blank canvas. Designed to inspire endless creativity and encourage human potential, Paperwork aims to encourage the absolute form of self-expression for anyone who wears it by tapping into smell, sight and touch. The genderless line includes a collection of fragrances, face and body solid pigments, and nail polishes in an array of different scents and colours.
The fragrance collection, titled SOLUTION, currently features four scents all of which are available to buy now and takes inspiration from 90s nostalgia and natural earth elements. IMPRINT and COLOR MATTER, the face and body and nail polish lines respectively, will be released soon. The brand says that these two beauty lines will “offer an entirely customizable experience that replaces conventional instructions for use with the freedom to express individuality and creativity.”
The campaign imagery for the collection takes a unique approach compared to a lot of other beauty campaigns, opting for an industrial theme set inside a laboratory showing the new products being crafted, a far cry from the usual colourful and floral centered campaigns synonymous with fragrance and beauty campaigns.
The SOLUTION line of fragrances from Off-White Beauty are available to buy now whilst IMPRINT and COLOR MATTER will be released at a later date. We can’t wait to see what they have in store!
