Every Thing You Need To Know About Paris Fashion Week

This Paris Fashion Week was a spectacle of colour, design, and unrelenting energy, setting the stage for some exciting fashion moments. While the industry buzzes over the biggest names, we’re turning our spotlight—true to Voir’s core mission—on the rising talents redefining the runway. We’ve gathered our favourite looks from the shows, celebrating the designers who are pushing boundaries, shaping trends, and proving that the future of fashion has never looked better.

Isabel Marant

Now is the perfect time to embrace workwear, and the rise of the Office Siren trend proves it. Isabel Marant’s latest collection captures this powerfully, blending sharp sophistication with effortless cool energy. Pinched waistlines, classic masculine pinstripes, and waistcoat tops define the aesthetic, while tartan and bold red accents add a countryside charm into city-ready looks. Interestingly, the use of black floral tights brings a sultry, emo-inspired contrast to oversized, boxy blazers, adding the Isabel Marant edge to the polished silhouettes. Once again, Isabel Marant nails the unattainable cool girl aesthetic—one we all dream of embodying.

Chloé

After a surprising Oscars upset for Timothée Chalamet in A Complete Unknown, the one redeeming factor is the return of the 60s Boho Chic by Chloé. Their latest collection is a dreamy return to femininity, featuring whimsical, fairy-like dresses crafted from flowing silk, delicate lace, and romantic florals. This season’s standout accessory? The oversized belt—seen repeatedly throughout the show, making a strong case for replacing the ‘it bag’ we feel we must own. The throwback to the past continues with voluminous padded shoulders of the 80s adding structure to blouses, and when cinched with the signature belt, the look exudes effortless power and elegance.

Róisín Pierce

Róisín Pierce is a rising star on the Paris Fashion Week scene, bringing her Irish heritage to the forefront with beautiful, authentic craftsmanship. Drawing from traditional textile techniques like hand crochet, lace-making, and smocking, she infuses her designs with a sense of delicacy and artistry, incorporating trailing flowers, bows, and ribbons for a handmade touch. Her dedication to her craft reflects a deep respect for history, seamlessly weaving the past into the future of fashion.

Taking inspiration from literary figures like Vladimir Nabokov and Sylvia Plath, Pierce explores the fleeting beauty of fabric, treating garments as more than just visual statements but as vessels of meaning. Her latest show, held at the gilded Irish Embassy in London—evoking a scene from Versailles—further emphasized her connection to history. The collection’s colour palette remained refined and regal, featuring black, white, and navy, reinforcing a sense of timeless elegance.

Recently, Pierce has collaborated with Polène, showcasing The Button Bow leather bags in a new creative collaboration to be launched in April 2025. Not only is she making waves in the industry, but she is also reviving and celebrating the artistry of fabric-making and fashion history.

Stella McCartney

Like Isabel Marant, Stella McCartney embraces office-inspired fashion, but with a bold twist. The latest collection, Laptop to Lap Dance, redefines workwear by seamlessly blending office attire with party-ready looks. Designed as the ultimate desk-to-dancefloor capsule, the show’s setting—complete with office desks, water coolers, and photocopy machines—felt like a fashion-forward take on The Office.

McCartney also channels the power of the ’80s with strong silhouettes and statement power suits, making the collection a perfect tribute to female confidence and empowerment—just in time for International Women’s Day. With a mantra of Work Hard, Play Harder, Stella McCartney proves that workwear can be just as bold, fun, and unapologetically powerful as the women who wear it.

Exciting debuts

This season also saw the exciting debuts of two renowned designers stepping into new creative roles. Haider Ackermann made his much-anticipated debut for Tom Ford, delivering a collection that emphasized fit, silhouette, and bold yet minimalistic colour statements. With a focus on precision and modern tailoring, the collection felt effortless proving that sometimes, simplicity speaks the loudest.

Sarah Burton also unveiled her first collection for Givenchy, drawing inspiration from the house’s 1952 post-war debut. The designs reflected a clean, professional aesthetic—uncluttered and refined, honouring the legacy of the brand while keeping it relevant for today.
