Just when you think heiress, socialite, model, singer, and actress are all of the roles Paris
Hilton can possibly take on, she’s adding entrepreneur to the list with her Quay X Paris
Hilton sunshade release.
It’s no surprise the star’s first time creating a line of accessories is centred around sunnies.
Check any Y2K Pinterest board and you’ll be bombarded with Paris’ iconic sunshade and
velour tracksuit pairing. Whether hiding from the paps or shading from the LA sun, Paris
doesn’t go anywhere without a trusty pair of shades (and her new line means you shouldn’t
either!)
The collection of 12 has something for everyone, from Barbie pink oval rims to square
frames, there are a pair of Paris- style shades for every occasion. Each product lives up to
the noughties glam and luxurious designer flair that Paris is known for, but it comes as no
surprise the best seller in the collection are the ‘nightfall’ shades. The retro-squared shades
feature in a fabulous oversized design and are available in 11 colours- as Paris would saythat’s hot.
In an Instagram campaign to promote the release, the reality star graced our feeds in true Paris style: driving a Lamborghini with a tiny dog in hand while drenched in Swarovski crystals.
The ad campaign showed Paris’ keys to living (or in Paris language, ‘Quays to Sliving’). Throughout the ad, Paris shows us her glamorous lifestyle and teaches us how to make an entrance in her black-rimmed ‘total vibe’ glasses.
If the collection’s funky designs and multitude of colours aren’t enough to persuade you that this is the sunshade drop of the year, Paris and Quay have dedicated the project to helping ‘project glimmer’ achieve their aims of providing empowerment and unwavering confidence to young girls everywhere. On collaborating with the charity, the star said “our missions are aligned and I couldn’t be prouder of our partnership”.
Speaking about the collection, Paris said the shades give you “that extra confidence to sliv your best life”, so if you’ve always wanted to embody Paris’ Y2K style and LA Barbie charm now’s your chance!
The collection is available for international shipping and prices start at £49, so what are you waiting for? Get ready to sliv in your very own Paris Hilton shades.
