Second-day Hairstyles You Should Try

We all know that we shouldn’t wash our hair every day. Washing it daily strips our hair of its natural oils and causes damage because of heat styling. But the annoying second-day hair that is slightly greasy makes it hard to stick to that unspoken rule. We show you hairstyles that are perfect for those days:

Before you recreate these gorgeous hairstyles, you can refresh your second-day hair with dry shampoo. We love the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo.

Hailey Bieber is the queen of the model off duty hairstyles. With her sleek buns and ponytails, she looks sophisticated and luxurious. The good news: those hairstyles are perfect for second-day hair!

Part your hair in the middle and create a ponytail by brushing your hair back. Twist the ponytail tightly into a bun and secure it with pins. Brushing your baby hairs using gel focus on your temples and where you usually have flyways.(Hack Alert: for optimum precision utilise a toothbrush). Rotating back to a comb to brush through your hair one last time make sure your ponytail is bumo free and smooth.Lastly, use hairspray to keep your hairstyle in place all day.

Another great alternative to the sleek bun is the braided ponytail. Dixie Damelio is rocking this sleek look in a black leather outfit and cat eye makeup. To recreate this look you start with knot free hair. Brush all your hair back and create a slicked back mid-height ponytail. With gel and hairspray, you can get rid of baby hairs and bumps. Then braid the ponytail and secure the end with a hairband.

90’s fashion is back, and so are the iconic 90’s hairstyles. Popular is the cute bubble hairstyle as seen on Olivia Rodrigo. This low maintenance look is excellent for the girls (and boys) who don’t know how to do a French plait or are short on time. Bubble hair is easy to achieve and looks like you putway more work into it than you did. Part your hair into as many sections as you want and put them into ponytails. You can also just put all of your hair into one ponytail. Take another hair band, tie it a few inches further down your ponytail, and tease the hair using your fingers to create the bubble. Repeat that step until you get to the bottom of your ponytail.

Selena Gomez shows us a more romantic second-day hairstyle. Create a sleep middle part after you refresh your hair with volumizing dry shampoo. Then part your hair in half. Start with one side and take a two-inch-thick section from your temple. Twist the sections around each other and add hair from your hairline to one of the sections. Repeat this process until all your hair is twisted. Then repeat with the other side. Combine the twists in the back to create a ponytail or low bun. Tease the front to create more volume if desired.
