Sex Education must be one of the best Netflix series out there. A sexually awkward, or on the contrary, active teenagers figuring out their sex lives and providing each other with sex ED must be way better than what they teach you at school.
Today Netflix dropped a new trailer for the upcoming season 3 which will go on air in a week on September 17th. The show is introducing new characters, including a new head teacher, Jemima Kirke, from the HBO series ‘Girls’ and a new student, Sudanese-American musician, Dua Saleh. It appears that this time the new season is all about rules and loss of self. No more sexual freedom, kinky images on the lockers or expressive outfits. The school children are stuck in uniforms, forced to quit their beliefs in sex and freedom.
Sex Education was released back in 2019 telling messy stories of Moordale Secondary School children and their parents. Soon the show gained huge success due to the representation of different backgrounds and sexualities as well as the education on other problematic taboo topics.
Season 3 seems to be better than we have expected and we can’t wait to watch the whole series.
