Gwen Stefani is finally releasing a beauty brand after three decades of inspiring us with her bold red lips and creative beauty. Since the 90s, makeup has been a huge part of Gwen’s iconic image, with fans around the world dreaming of achieving her music video looks, red carpet appearances, and the iconic red lip Gwen wore everywhere.
“Red lipstick was my obsession. I remember the first time I ever tried it, I saw the future. That was me for the next forever of my life.”
Now we can not only recreate her makeup looks, but we can recreate them with products from Gwen’s own new brand, GXVE.
Pronounced “give”, and inspired by Gwen’s signature, Gx (Gwen with a kiss), GXVE was created to celebrate creativity & individuality. GXVE aims to acknowledge and honour the makeup artistry and inspiration that is constantly shared in the makeup community. At GXVE’s center is Gwen’s own love for makeup, formed when she worked at a makeup counter and realized makeup could positively affect people.

To promote their launch, GXVE’s Instagram page has been posting images that evoke old Hollywood glamour and pop-rock 90s nostalgia, with black and white checkered nails, red lips, and gold jewelry. A combination that perfectly captures GXVE’s branding and matches their black, white, and gold packaging.
GXVE is releasing eight new products: one eyeshadow quad, one pencil liner, two brow products, a face primer, and three lip products.
The Eye See in Color Clean Multidimensional Eyeshadow Palette includes four different neutral quads: Simple Kind of Life has neutral matte shades, Rich girl contains golden bronze shadows, Just a Girl embraces rose golds, and Danger zone has matte smokey colors.
Their Hella On Point Clean Ultra-Fine Brow Pencil is precise for easy definition, and their Most Def Clean Instant Definition Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil is long wearing.
GXVE’s All Time Prime Clean Hydrating Prep & Smooth Face Oil, is lightweight and perfect for dry skin.
We are especially excited to try out GXVE’s three new lip products that all come in Gwen’s signature red color or, as GXVE calls it, The Original Formula. Lucky for us, GXVE is releasing one matte lipstick, one satin lipstick, and one matte liquid lipstick; something for everyone.
GXVE officially launches online on March 3rd and in Sephora stores on March 10th.
