In an exciting collaboration, luxury eyewear brand, Ray-Ban has partnered with social media platform, Facebook to create their first generation of smart sunglasses. The classic Ray-Ban design meets Facebook’s pioneering technology to create Ray-Ban stories, a pair of glasses which allow you to take a photo, record a video and turn up your music all with just a single touch, ‘the new way to capture, share and listen’.
The wearable technology allows you to share your own perspective on the world, using dual 5mp camera technology, the glasses take high-resolution photos and quality videos, automatically adjusting the light around you to suit. As well as this, open-ear speakers allow you to listen to music or take a phone call, while the built-in microphones ensure high levels of voice and sound quality. After playing around with this new gadget you are going to need to charge it and that’s where the portable USB charging case comes in. Designed to look just like a regular sunglasses case, the Ray-Ban Stories case enables you to charge your shades on the go, anywhere, anytime.
It doesn’t stop there! With the help of Facebook View App, you can edit your content and share them straight to Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp in just a few seconds after taking your snap.
Having launched just last week, celebrities have not taken long to get their hands on the latest craze. Paloma Elsesser shared a picture of her pair on Instagram, describing them as “insane”!
With prices starting from just £299, Ray-Ban Stories come in the brand’s classic Wayfarer style, with a range of 6 different colour combinations to choose from and 2 lenses designed for everyday use.
Sharing real-life has never been so easy.
