*Voir Exclusive* Stefflon Don Plays Herself In The New Video For ‘DemDead’ Styled By Voir

Queen of drill Stefflon Don has given us hot new visuals for her Daily Duppy track ‘DemDead’. Voir styled the trap artist in eight fierce looks for the playful video which dropped on the 1st March. Stefflon takes on different versions of herself in a fatal poker game rocking a variety of killer looks that showcase her big personality.

The freestyle from December last year marked Steff’s first time on GRM Daily and she left her mark with her sharp bars resulting in over a half million views on the video. In the new visual Steff gives us bad girl vibes in the first half with four supremely dressed versions of herself sitting around a poker table taking turns to spit rhymes into the swiftly revolving camera. She seamlessly switches up her flow on the sexy second verse telling us, “Badboys ain’t no good for me/But I love a badman, who can hold his piece/Yeah, I love a badman who can hold his streets/Yeah, I love a badman who can hold the sheets”. For this section, Steff serves body lying on a podium with a snake whilst brass three piece create a catchy beat.

Stephanie Victoria Allen, better known as Stefflon Don, was born in Birmingham but age five moved to the Netherlands and as a result is fluent in Dutch. The rapper has been singing and writing music since primary school and at the age of nine, she recorded a ‘Hard Knock Life’ hook for rapper U-Niq. At 14, she moved to London. Prior to fame, she worked as a cake decorator and hairdresser. Her 2017 single ‘Hurtin’ Me’ featuring French Montana caught the attention of the internet and peaked at number 7 on UK Singles Chart. Since then she’s worked with big names on the scene including KSI, Lil Yachty, Jax Jones, Demi Lovato, RAYE, Becky Hill, Charli XCX, and Little Mix.

See below for all the deets on how we styled the star as well as how you can tweak pieces to inspire your own fits.

The Pink Puffer Princess

We put Steff in this stunning Arctic Army pink puffer for the first poker table look. The snowy white fur hood with the dripping FPM Eyewear headpiece and chains from 4 Element creates the perfect regal look for the women in charge of the table. The monochrome pink fit is complete with this dusty pink corset and holey leggings from Poster Girl.

The Chainmail Goddess

Steff wears a one-of-a-kind silver bejewelled bra and pant set from designer Joanne Webster in this expensive-looking outfit. The camel-coloured fur jacket by Wisly gives this a gangster touch whilst the chainmail style headpiece from Slim Barrett gives this look a medieval knight feel – a perfect combination for the fierce rapper.

The “Bank Robber” Baddie

London College of Fashion graduate Iga Kampa designed this breath-taking black leather outfit that with its interesting silhouette makes Stefflon look a powerful and commanding figure. To accessorise we added a pop of colour with a green watch provided by LB Jewellers, Retro Super Future black shades, and a pair of fishnet tights. “Dressed in ah black like mi’s a bank robber”!

The Denim Diva

Double denim deniers stay mad. This POAN light wash denim shirt jacket with a Skittles and cigarette packet printed pairs perfectly with the Diesel denim bodysuit and 1D Diesel shoulder bag in the denim and red colourway. Topped off with kitsch green Lilith By Sita jewellery and the pastel green twin buns gives this look a fun and playful vibe.

The Elevated Bridal Gown

For the transition to the second verse, Steff wears a stunning bridal gown by recent Central Saint Martins graduate Maximilian Rayno. The subversive piece is a floor-length maxi dress with an elegant flat headpiece made using scraps of white leather. Very couture.

Top of the Podium Look

For this more relaxed fit, we styled the rapper in loose fitting light wash Diesel jeans, a white corset top, and silver platforms. It’s a look for the artist at the top of her game.
