If you haven’t heard about Halle Bailey by now, we’re guessing you’ve been living under the sea for the past month (get it?). Whether you know her as a young Disney star, half of the Grammy-winning R&B duo Chloe x Halle, or as the Little Mermaid, there’s no denying that she does it all. Being in the spotlight for so long means she’s been serving looks since 2008, rocking everything from edgy ensembles to whimsical princess gowns. And with her dipping her mermaid tail into Hollywood as the live-action Ariel, there’s no better time to look back at her style evolution.
