2021 is a year that has held many fashion highs, and some of our favourite brands have kept the momentum going up until the very end. To celebrate this great year for fashion, we had to share some of the best December drops to set your eyes on for those post-Christmas sales.
Zara X Ader Error
Zara is a firm high street fashion favourite, and earlier this month they treated us to an exciting new collaborative collection with South Korean streetwear brand Ader Error. The collection is complete with styles suited to both brands, such as; baggy sweaters, coats and knitwear.
21 X 7 For All Mankind
For anyone seeking a sustainable yet chic collaboration, this is the one for you. This collection saw 7 For All Mankind join forces with the luxury Italian brand No. 21, creating oversized denim shirts, jeans, skirts and sculpted bras. As well as helping No. 21 strive towards its goal of using 80% sustainable materials by 2023, this collection sees an inclusive approach, with the pieces intended to be genderless.
Lisa X Celine
Blackpink’s Lisa has now become the face of Celine’s Haute Parfumerie. Lisa has been a brand ambassador for Celine since 2019, walking the runway and sporting the ready to wear collection. We are excited to see where her beauty ambassador journey will take her next.
Palace X Kappa
Combining Italian streetwear and British football culture results in this fresh collaboration from Palace and Kappa. The collection includes pieces like Jerseys, hats, tracksuits and accessories, with the hope of appealing to athleisure enthusiasts.
Snapchat X Luxury Brands
Trying on clothes in stores is just so last year, so Snapchat has brought us a feature to enable us to try out luxury clothing from the comfort of our own home. The app’s virtual shopping experience uses digital and AR versions of real-life products from brands like Gucci, Prada and Farfetch.
Bottega Venetta
Bottega Venetta has had its moment this year, with the colour green zapping life into our wardrobes. The brand has now seen itself debut at a new location in Soho, NYC, which has been met with much excitement. The store is complete with artistic designs throughout, including a state of the art VIP room covered in sunbeams shining through the skylight above.
Zara Atelier
Zara is treating us even further this year by introducing its most high-end designer collection yet. Zara Atelier will come to us semi-annually, with designers working hard to produce an artistic interpretation of a wardrobe essential. The first collection sees The Coat in a design like no other.
Wiederhoeft
Jackson Wiederhoeft, Thom Browne Alum, is debuting his FW 2022 Collection “Wiederhoeft Academy”. The brand has previously become known for fusing performance and fashion through Wiederhoeft’s bridal collections. This time, Wiederhoeft has tuned his collection to become more wearable, with more conventional silhouettes and designs whilst focussing on queer identity He explores identities by using characters of bildungsroman set in a magic school as his muse, aiming to make a wardrobe fit for them to wear.
Fendi
To get into the festive spirit, Fendi has brought us The Baguette Holiday Edition, as the Italian house takes on the iconic bag shape. The collection is available in a range of colours and materials, with elements such as rhinestones available to choose from.
Prada X ASPENX
Letting us live our true winter dreams, this collaboration has truly delivered. Releasing its latest ski performance collection, ASPENX has partnered up with Prada to give their sportswear line an extra edge. The collection sees the technicality of Aspen fused with the sleek craftsmanship of Prada, to ensure that athletes, fashion fans and creative’s needs are all met.
