This April is an exciting time in the beauty world. Spring’s on its way and so is a whole bunch of new skincare and beauty products! Here’s everyone thing you need to know about the upcoming beauty launches this April.
1. The Ordinary Post-Acne Treatment
The Ordinary are usually quite secretive with their launches, and this launch coming up on March 28th has us at the edge of our seats. Teasing a photo of the product on Instagram captioned “bounce back after breakouts”, The Ordinary announced a live stream on the day of the launch to reveal the product and answer a few of their customer’s questions about it. From what we know, it seems to be a post-acne treatment serum, made to target acne scars.
We don’t know about you, but we’re super excited about this launch.
2. Boots Glow Illuminating Mist
The Boots Glow range has been largely successful since its launch in mid-2020. The range offers a wide variety of products – from serums to moisturisers to lip masks – at an incredibly low price. The new product is an illuminating mist, similar to their brightening mist, except it gives a much more dewy finish – and we all know that the dewy look is having a bit of a moment right now.
3. Kiehl’s Ultra Pure High-Potency Serums
This range of serums consists of the Niacinamide Serum (for oily skin), Hyaluronic Acid Serum (for dry skin and Glycolic Acid Serum (for textured skin), all of which provide visible results within mere weeks. They have received so many positive reviews from their global customers and we can’t wait for them to launch in the UK so we can get our hands on them. These 3 serums will be launching in Selfridges on April 5th.
4. Gucci Make-up Quads
These beautiful gold palettes launch on April 1st at Selfridges, and we’ve already started our countdowns because we can’t wait to get our hands on them. There are three different palettes coming out and, although they may just look like eyeshadows, these little guys can be used all over the face as highlighters and blushes and even lips.
Lexi Jong talked through two out of the three palettes in a video posted to YouTube. The highly pigmented products boasted a very sophisticated array of colours as she swatched the shades on her arm.
5. Maison Crivelli Oud Maracuja
Maison Crivelli is a niche fragrance house with a brand-new fragrance coming out on April 1st at Selfridges. This new product featured a vibrant, passionfruit-infused scent. Their products usually feature more classy and modern fragrances and we simply can’t wait for this new fragrance to blow our minds.
@nicole_perfumes on TikTok shared how being a fragrance reviewer, she feels quite indifferent about the majority of scents, so a fragrance has to really stand out to catch her attention, and one of the products that always does is the Iris Malikhân by Maison Crivelli.
With this, on top of all of the other positive reviews about the brand, we’re certain that their newest product won’t disappoint.
