The beauty artistry in season two of HBO’s hit show Euphoria has been dubbed the ‘introverted sister’ of season one by the show’s talented make-up artist Donni Davy. While the show may have swapped chunky glitter for a dewy glow, the make- up looks this season are no less iconic than in the first. Here we take a look at our favourite looks and recreations from the first two episodes of Euphoria season two.
Maddy’s Sharp-as-a-Knife Liner Look
It wouldn’t be Euphoria without Maddy’s knock-out glam. Maddy brought in the new year with a glittery eyeliner look. Davy described the look as ‘sharp as a knife to cut through whatever stands in her (maddy’s) way’, symbolising the fierce persona of the iconic Miss Perez.
Instagram MUA @kimi_jpg put her own creative spin on Maddy’s eye look. While she kept the ultra- super sharp liner and silver shadow, Kimi covered her inner and outer eyes with rhinestones, reminiscent of the glittering glam featured in the show’s first season.
Equally impressive was @rowisingh, a make-up artist who added the iconic Euphoria rhinestones below her brow bone for a bold recreation. The two MUAs recommend the following products to create the look:
Jules’ Mermaid Purse Look
Jules left her vivid, pixie- eye looks in season one, preferring a stripped back grunge aesthetic this time round. In the first episode of season two, Jules wore little make- up besides a defining inner- corner eyeliner look. Davy told her Instagram followers that the look had been inspired by the shape of a mermaid purse.
The detailed liner has been imitated by skilled influencers like @itsmariyaxo. The beauty content creator impressively emulated almost every make-up look from season two’s first episode. Not only did she nail her imitation of the confidence and allure of the show’s characters in her reel, she also mastered the show’s most intricate make- up details like Jules’ spiky liner.

Kat’s Two Toned Eye Look
Euphoria is renowned for bright and beautiful eye looks. Season two sees Barbara Ferreira’s character Kat continue this legacy, as she wore a cyan blue shimmer eyeshadow, layered beneath highlighter yellow eyeshadow by Euphoria make-up artist Alexandria French.
Content creator @kickiyangz said she loved all the looks in Euphoria, but chose to recreate Kat’s duo- toned eyes for her followers. Instead of layering the two colours the way French did, Kicki flaunted an all blue lid contrasted by a yellow shadow in her inner corners. She also added a winged liner and rhinestones to finish the look, which looked equally as stunning as Kat’s original look.
