Finally hotter days are on the horizon and this week our Instagram feeds are getting us excited to start dressing for summer. Highlighting some of the seasons key trends; with colourful mesh pieces, pastel co-ords, a touch of glam and the chunkiest platforms – all your favourite fashion girls are giving us major SS21 wardrobe inspiration.
Kylie Jenner
We’re relating to Kylie with her reminiscent snap on the beach. She looked sexy and chic in a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier piece, which features a colourful mesh design with peachy pink, yellow and orange tones. The halter neck silhouette and midi skirt are trending this season and brand AUNÉ is killing it this season with their stunning mesh designs, and they’re a must-have for your summer wardrobe. Taking a look at the details, we’re here for the gold jewellery accents.
Beyonce
It’s never kept quiet when Beyonce shares a look on Instagram and this week she took glam to the next level. Wearing a PVC mini dress with a sequinned jacket, a diamanté choker and slingback heels – the whole look is fire and we can’t wait to re-create it come June 21st. In terms of dressing glam this season, crystals, one of the most notable nods to the 00s, are trending.
Emily Ratajowski
Another look to fuel your inspiration for dressing glam this summer is Em Rata’s Versace gown which features jewel-embellished creations of the ocean. Donatella’s SS21 collection is very nautical-inspired and nothing says summer like the beach, right? Shop the La Mer collection for the perfect addition to your wardrobe.
Pastel blue and hot pink – the combination you need this SS21. Chi Virgo wears a set by OMWEEKEND paired with the Naked Wolfe Willow sliders, very bold and very extra – the memo of the Summer, by the way.
Tinashe
Tinashe took to Instagram in a cute, pink mesh top paired with co-ordinating rimless sunglasses and acrylic hoops. She kept it casual with blue denim ripped jeans, a go-to summer piece. This look is perfect for a chilled summers day whilst keeping it trending with bold colours and the y2k sunglasses everyone is talking about.
Jordyn Woods
If diamanté is your thing then look no further than Jordyn’s fight night ‘fit. In the glam Aurora pants by I AM GIA, paired with the crystal embellished Prada satin mini bag and a matching choker, Jordyn kept it classy and cool. She’s showing us the perfect way to style diamanté with a simple black crop and shirt.
Kendall Jenner
Kendall’s keeping it cosy with the Adonis Checkerboard Sweater by Stine Goya, featuring shades of blue and green in a groovy print. This ‘fit is cute and casual, with a simple pair of black flares and pointed boots to finish it off. Looking at accessories, she wears a beaded pearl necklace by ELIOU which, when it comes to details, is one of the most noteworthy trends of the summer.
Aleali May
Ok so let’s talk jeans – the boyfriend silhouette is both comfy and stylish making it easier to pull off the controversial return of low rise. Aleali May paired her jeans with a mesh crop by Jean Paul Gaultier, a Gucci shoulder bag, and Fenty visor sunglasses. This is how to do streetwear like a boss this SS21.
Ash Forde
Pattern play is key for this summer. Ash Forde wears a multi-coloured vest with lots of vibrant colours and groovy patterns, paired with hot pants and paisley print platforms by Nicolette Nichelle. Keep it fun and experimental in SS21.
Jourdan Dunn
Colour coordination is a timeless way to keep your outfits trending all summer. Jourdan’s muse was orange for this look, wearing the Nike dunk lows with a pair of Plisse wide leg pants and the Burn t-shirt by Lois1XBlue.
