Spring is quickly approaching and the fashion on Instagram is giving us an insight into the trends of the season. With March already teasing us with sun and brighter evenings, we’re really feeling the summer vibe in the wintertime. We’ve spotted vibrant colours, abstract prints, wraparound sunnies, funky accessories and unapologetic cut out pieces because 2021 is all about confidence and change.
WUZ GOOD
Key tend alert: Colour blocking. Street Style queen Wuz Good is giving us spring vibes in her colourful oversized cardigan paired with the iconic 80s windbreaker inspired Sean Wotherspoon Nike Air Max 97s; one of the brands most colourful collaborations. There are no dark colours to be seen in this look, even the accessory choices of a pastel blue Kangol bucket hat and chunky gold chains are unapologetically eye-catching.
Kali Uchis
Dripping in Moschino, Kali Uchis is bringing the gold chains trend home – and we’re loving it. Paired with a risqué cut out dress which shows off her gorgeous curves, she really said hot girl summer with this look.
Maxine Wylde
Head to toe style. Expect to see A LOT of bright colours this season and especially retro green. Nothing says spring like this shade, right? Maxine’s fabulous Paloma Wool flares give a subtle nod to the 60s, with the abstract patterns yet again telling us that this year is all about being confident. The look is an aesthetically pleasing masterpiece, with everything tying together perfectly.
Solene OJ
Who said a blazer can’t be worn as a top? Looking feminine and boss-like, Solene OJ is ready for a spring-time daily walk and there isn’t one person who won’t pass her by in awe. Ivory is another shade of the season – bright, playful and chic. When you thought this look couldn’t get any better, she’s paired the suit with a pair of crystal embellished Amina Muaddi sandals which add the perfect pop of colour.
Sita Bellan
Sporty, but make it sustainable AND sexy – that’s the energy Sita Bellan is giving off in this look. Wearing a custom, sustainable piece by designer Lois Blue made entirely out of preloved football gloves…combining two of the key spring trends; cut out silhouettes and bright colours. She’s paired the dress with a standout body chain which is part of a collab with her own brand, Lilth by Sita, and MISBHV. What have we learnt from this look? Make your accessories BOLD.
Mira Lomani
An ethereal take on streetwear – Lomani is killing the game in the Marine Serre crescent moon tights, owning the look by pairing them with a Bridgerton-esque, flowing dress. This monochrome palette is both sporty and chic.
Sav Hudson
More prints… you’ll be seeing lots of abstract silhouettes this season and Sav Hudson is channelling this trend to a T in her Fruity Booty Lingerie set. Looking fierce in cheetah, with eye catching red and blue tones. But let’s take a look at her accessories – wraparound shades seem to be all the hype this season, playing on y2k influences, and the BIGGER the BETTER seems to be the message.
Lena Helenbusch
Lena, hot girl summer is coming we know but PLEASE wait for us to catch up. Sporting a gorgeous lime green backless piece by Fashion Nova, it seems the cut-out silhouettes are everywhere. She’s completed the look with a stack of funky rings, making this outfit pastel heaven – with pinks, purples, blues, greens and yellows. Dressing up your fingers has never been cooler, spring 2021 is ALL about bold accessories.
Holly Marston
Ever wondered how to make pastels look badass? Take some tips from Holly Marston’s style. We’ve spotted several trends in her staple mesh top from Boohoo’s edit with Dani Leigh – colours, prints and mesh. Paired with a timeless pair of chunky boots and a pleather jacket, showing us how to dress like a stylish baddie this spring.
Kylie Jenner
If you’re not a fan of the colour green…this look will change your mind. Kylie SNAPPED in this co-ord by Sel Doval and the details are everything. Showing off her vicious curves which are accentuated by the ruched leg and 60’s inspired marble prints. Groovy and confident.
Gini Misselbrook
Nothing says springtime in the UK like a leather blazer and a pair of jeans. Gini is making casual look crazy fashionable in her petrol blue Nasty Gal jacket – a colour which is guaranteed to get you compliments this spring. Her fits are always A1 and in this look she has accessorised with chunky rings, glasses and a scarf – we are here for the details.
Sandra Shehab
Key trend alert: all out patterns. Looking like a groovy goddess, Sandra is another influencer making pastels look HOT in her own design. A maxi dress which is figure hugging in all the right ways, paired with a small tote…perfect for fitting everything you need when you catch up with your loved ones at the park this spring.
Freya Broni
Think we’ve found our new favourite colour combo: hot pink and orange. Babe, Freya Broni, is giving us all the colour blocking inspiration we need to look jaw droppingly hot this spring. She’s paired her Zara mini dress with a cute baguette bag and pair of sandals, giving us a look reminiscent of a sunset abroad.
Aleali May
Can Aleali May make everything look good? The answer is yes. In this look she’s tapping into her streetwear roots with her retro Jordan’s which she’s paired with an INSANE pair of vintage Ralph Lauren low rise leather trousers – giving us major y2k vibes for spring. We’ve definitely come to the conclusion that matching your colours is a must this spring and Aleali has taken this to the next level by colour coordinating her nails with her belt…queen.
