Voir’s Instagram Looks Of The Week

A long-awaited easing of restrictions is just around the corner and with Springtime starting, that can only mean one thing – it’s time to start planning for your SS21 wardrobe. Instagram has yet again given us an insight into the looks which are trending – prepare for a resurgence in 90s/early 00s aesthetics and LOTS of colour.

Duckie Thot

We can all agree that red is timeless, perfect for any season and guaranteed to give any look that extra heat. Duckie Thot is combining the fiery shade with one of SS21’s most noteworthy trends – co-rds. In a Luis De Javier corset and skirt two piece, she looks like a real-life barbie and is guaranteed to stand out. Not only does a co-ord look good but it’s arguably the most practical trend – minimal styling needed but very fashion-forward

Maxine Wylde

Let’s talk about colour coordination – the best way to make any outfit look sleek and put together. Maxine Wydle has perfectly executed the trend, with shades of blue and pink perfectly tying together. The trick is to use accessories to your advantage, this could be a bag, sunglasses, a scarf or even your socks! If it wasn’t already obvious, pastel colours are seriously an essential for spring.

Raye

Who said lingerie couldn’t been worn as a staple piece? Raye’s Comic Relief performance outfit proved that you can. Embracing the pastel trend to a T – she showed off her curves in a mesh Rosamosario robe, embellished with feathers and giving us major Romy and Michele energy.

Jessy Law

With a more streetwear inspired take on the trend – Jessy Law is park ready and dressed bright enough to ensure she doesn’t go unnoticed. The staple piece is a Places + Faces neon orange gilet, the perfect spring silhouette, which she’s paired with a coordinating tracksuit set from Not Found Co. If looking comfy and cool is your vibe, this look is the perfect way to coordinate your colours this spring. Style tip: Use your trainers as a base!

Bebe Rexha

No paparazzi please! The 00s Gaga Era sunglasses are back – big chunky frames. Bebe Rexha took to Instagram to show off her bomb paparazzi pics which have given us lots of spring inspiration. Not only are the sunglasses a must for your basket, but she’s also dripping in grills – another hip-hop trend making it mainstream this season. It goes without saying that a jacket can become your go-to staple, consider a lightweight leather piece to rock the punk chic vibe like Bebe.

Eyes Rodgers

Spotted: another co-ord look. This risqué cut-out set from Omweekend combines many trends including the SS21 law that groovy patterns are back and the bolder, the better. Tie-dye is the perfect print for sunnier days. Style tip: accessories a co-ord minimally with a subtle earring, necklace, or ring.

Azzelle

Never failing to push the boundaries of style by embracing trends to the extreme, Azzelle is a walking colour dream with this look. If pastels aren’t for you then you’ll be glad to know that primary colours which make your outfit pop are a must have this spring. Combine them all or centre your outfit around one, either works.

Gigi Vassallo

Sustainable can look stylish and Gigi is showing us how that’s done with her H&M blazer from their conscious collection. Not only is this piece bright and vibrant, but its’ cut out sides adds that extra uniqueness. She styled the blazer with a pastel shoulder bag, the perfect way to add an extra, practical, pop of colour to any outfit this season. Talking about shoes, it’s time to dust off your strappy sandals.

Sandra Shehab

Looking to start trying out the trends asap? Colour coordinate like Sandra, in a comfy set by Boohoo she’s ready for a supermarket run and a daily walk. Add a gilet to your basket this season, a silhouette practically designed for spring and ideal to match with any look. Style tip: make sure at least two items colour coordinate to perfectly pull off the trend.

Sarah Feingold

Channeling business chic and Chanel from the 90s, Sarah took to Instagram to show off her ivory blazer and skirt co-ord. We can all agree that a blazer is timeless and this season we’ve spotted them everywhere. A versatile, sleek, boss-woman look which can be dressed up or down. Pair it with a matching skirt or trousers to look runway ready even at the park.

Embracing the return of low rise, Bella took to Instagram to show off her HUGO BOSS SS21 show look. With a pair of navy bottoms which combine sporty and sexy paired with a red varsity-style cami top. An effortless look.

Dua Lipa

If you haven’t already noticed blazers are a must have staple for SS21. So versatile, they can be worn as a jacket OR a top. Dua has gone for the business chic look on top, with an unbuttoned white shirt and blazer. Experimenting with how to add a pop of colour this spring? Take some tips from this look – shoes are a perfect place to start, coordinate with a bag to elevate any look.
