We’ve spotted dreamy leather co-ords, vibrant colours, LOTS of coordination and ALL the spring inspiration you need – this week’s Instagram fashion run down.
Mira Lomani
With fur and buckle embellishment, this PU leather JYOSEI set is the y2k staple piece of the season. Mira Lomani wears the yellow co-ord, a look which can be put together effortlessly and tick all the trend boxes for SS21. We’re here for the comeback of the pleated silhouette – giving a chic, yet sexy feminine vibe for those sunny days.
Elisa Johnson
A boss-girl take on co-ord, with a navy-blue suit look paired casually with the all-white Nike Blazers. Style tip: trainers and blazers are the best way to make smart casual stylish. This look is all about the details, though, with the Loewe navy pants embellished with a double waistband, the standout blue shades and the ditsy bralette which brings that feminine touch.
Jessica Wang
Yellow is the colour of spring and this MIU MIU look is the perfect way to style it – a cute cardi on top, paired with a midi side split skirt. Jessica Wang added a hint of glam with a silver mini bag and sequin embellished halter neck, both also from the MIU MIU SS21 collection.
Devon Lee Carson
Another influencer in our new favourite colour combination, hot pink and orange. The best palette for spring styled in a vibrant PU leather jacket, custom made by Depop seller Rosie Maeve, and a neon chain detail Versace bag. Style tip: colour block with your outerwear and accessories.
Lexi Wood
MORE leather, MORE co-ords. Lexi took to Instagram in a sleek all-black look, an alternative you can never go wrong in for any season. She paired the crop leather jacket and mini skirt with a pair of knee high heeled boots – if there’s one pair of shoes to invest in this season it’s these, perfect for dressing up any look and looking badass while doing it.
Cardi B
Cardi B blessed our feeds with her shoot for XXL. Our favourite outfit was this Aliette leather co-ord. Bright and bold in red, with the fishnets to match. Style tip: dress up your co ord with a pair of stilettos for a more glam look.
Millie Sykes, Elle, Tara Chandra
Have you ever seen three pretty best friends? This trio is giving us lots of SS21 inspiration. Millie Skyes wears a NII HAI argyle co-ord knit set with a shirt and tie underneath, cute and sophisticated. Argyle is definitely a print to add to your baskets this season, and this colourway is perfect for spring. Elle and Tara wear cut out tops a key trend and perfect for a beer garden staple. If you hadn’t already noticed platform shoes are back, here we see it styled in trainers, sandals and boots.
SZA
In a sporty look, SZA wears a navy varsity jacket with a button up top, a floral skirt and a pair of Golf Le Fleur converse. Showing us another way to bring in colour coordination this spring – match your shoes with your jacket. Another key detail from this look that we love is the accessories – layered necklaces and stacks of rings – if there’s anything we know about SS21 is that dressing up your hands is essential.
Rina
Matching her new interiors, Rina took to Instagram this week in a ditsy embroidered Mira cardigan and a pastel blue playsuit. Embellished with flowers and balloon sleeves, there is no cardigan more suited to the season. Subtle but effective, the forget-me-nots co-ordinate with the blue of her romper and we’re here for the creativity. Perfect for when the weather gets warmer and a jacket is too bulky.
Maxine Wydle
Just like Maxine, we’re having a thing for cobalt blue lately. Definitely a key shade for this SS21. Bold and vibrant, there is no better way to stand out this spring. In this look, Maxine wore a knitted piece from local Scandinavian label Baum und Pferdgarten, paired with the iconic Marine Serre Moon print long sleeve in a matching blue. In shoes, we love the mule silhouette this season – this lilac Bottega Venetta pair is must for your basket.
Adut Akech Bior
Need another colour combination inspiration? Pink and green. You heard it here first. Another palette we’re loving this spring and Adut Akech is making it work in a pink poplin shirt and a SS21 Fendi handbag. There is no better way to style an oversized shirt this spring than a half in-half out tuck and pair of square toe stilettos – ready for any post lockdown plans.
Winnie Harlow
We’d all like to be poolside this summer, but even if the chances are slim there’s no reason to not treat yourself to a beach-ready outfit just in case – besides let’s hope for some park/garden sunbathing weather! If you’re looking for some inspiration, or just to looking to feel more summery – Winnie Harlow’s look is bright and bold in head to toe orange. With vintage Dior, Hermes sandals and LOTS of gold jewellery. Want to go vintage? We’ve picked out a Dior number for you. Or shop the details to go with any spring look.
